The real reason there is no Stannis poster? The posters all say “Valar Morghulis”, and all men must die. Except Stannis.
The greatest thing though, is everyone vows to get rid of Stannis or deal with him, and they make fun of him for a bunch of stuff, and yet he’s one of the few still alive and not maimed or compromised in any way. He’s also the only one that’s putting the realm before the crown, flat out saying he was wrong in pursuing the crown to gain the kingdom. He may not be amiable, but he’s literally the only one who cares enough about the kingdom to do something about what’s going on in the north.
He actually fits a bunch of fantasy tropes, being a younger brother and scorned all his life, finding a wizard to guide him, having a funky sidekick, positioning himself to fight the monster. I don’t even care if he’s not Azor Ahai, which he’s most definitely not, because he’s creating his own legend by heading north, trusting in nonnoble guides and finding other means to fight the fight he feels is his duty to fight. He understands Westeros and it may not make him likeable but it makes him formidable. Even Tywin says so in GOT.
It’s almost fitting that he’s not the focus of ads or the show and series itself, because of his harsh personality, but that doesn’t change that every time he does appear it’s to cause serious mayhem and trouble for everyone else. Hey, nothing pleases but rare accidents. I know I went insane when he arrived to stop the wildings at the end of ASOS. And even that moment Stannis isn’t considered. Was it Robert, come back from the dead? NO SONNN IT WAS STANNNNNNNNIS KING STANNNNNNNNIS!

Some people think that horror films are some sort of second class filmmaking, and the only way to bypass that thinking is being proud of the fact that we do it. — Clive Barker
Horror is the future. And you cannot be afraid. You must push everything to the absolute limit or else life will be boring. People will be bored. Horror is like a serpent; always shedding its skin, always changing. And it will always come back. It can’t be hidden away like the guilty secrets we try to keep in our subconscious. — Dario Argento
Horror films don’t create fear. They release it. — Wes Craven
I think of horror films as art, as films of confrontations. Films that make you confront aspects of your own life that are difficult to face. Just because you’re making a horror film doesn’t mean you can’t make an artful film. — David Cronenberg
THE MOST ANNOYING THING IS THAT “BROWSE IN BRIDGE” IS RIGHT UNDER “OPEN” IN PHOTOSHOP AND I ACCIDENTALLY CLICK IT ALL THE TIME
